It is a nonprofit association dedicated to the treatment and support for those struggling with eating disorders.
What does ANAD do?
ANAD's mission is "To alleviate suffering and provide support to those struggling with eating disorders." ANAD provides resources and education to fight anorexia and other eating disorders. They have a helpline and help email that individuals can contact for assistance during their own struggles or struggles of someone they know.
ANAD Week
ANAD week is a philanthropy event that takes place in the spring. Each day is a different event and the week concludes with a candelight vigil honoring past and current individuals struggling with an eating disorder. Some events that have been put on include a nutrition event, zumba, and trash your insecurities event.
