Since our establishment in 1925, the Eta chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon at the University of Pittsburgh has upheld the ideals of our founding sisters. These ideals are embodied in our motto "Esse quam videri" in Latin meaning "To be rather than to seem to be".
Our sisterhood is founded on the pillars of justice, sisterhood, and love. We aim to exemplify these pillars on campus and throughout our daily lives.
